• Landscapes

    A landscape is where I find a place and time that inspires me, I set my exposure and let nature leave her impression within the frame I have opened for her. There is something so precious, unique and satisfying in those moments. I am present and a part of the creation but I have no control over what is revealed.

  • Montages

    Where the imagination fuses and transforms images taken in isolation of each other into another visual to represent an intangible thought, dream or vision. It brings freedom to and for images and the ability to narrate without words.

  • Portraiture

    I truly enjoy portraiture and the opportunity to capture the spirit and expression of the person beyond what we see. Everyone is unique with their own beauty and fascination. How powerful a moment can be when its frozen in time and how much more we see and feel.

  • Figurative Art Nude

    I love figurative nude work, to capture the elegance, grace and expression of the form purely and timelessly in a landscape is liberating. It is also the subject with the hardest challenges, so many do it but so few can see the purity or capture the spirit of the nude. I was inspired to follow this avenue of visual work by Anne Brigman (1869 - 1950) and also by meeting and working with performing artist Elena Buga.

  • Cars

    Cars hold a fascination to me especially those with a classic style. I like them to drive so I understand the angles and settings to enhance their presence and shape.

  • Night

    The night offers many interesting possibilities and colours we never see with these eyes but are there. Time exposure takes us beyond the constraints of our vision.

  • Fashion

    I love shooting high fashion, the classics and Haute Couture whenever I have the opportunity. I am adaptable with fashion but do prefer the classical rather than the bubblegum.

    Simplicity is often the best expression.

  • Surreal Landscape

    Although the majority of my commercial work goes to promote Ireland in various magazines and is of the more tourism postcard style. My heart lies in the surrealism of landscape, taking it just beyond the norm to something unique to me.

  • Monochrome Landscape

    Another rich avenue of exploration. I love monochrome work,its challenging, rewarding and timeless.
